Discovery Of The Sa Nalaor

With their captured Nexu safely stowed in the cargo hold R2-C4 was able to heal the wounds to Kol-Blah’s arm before the group headed out to the North along the rivers edge towards the debris field they found during their previous scans. Up stream they discovered a large dam which turned out to be the aft engine section of a large Banking Clan frigate.

With much difficult and team work the group was able to scale the outside of the hull and find themselves at the southern tip of a large lake which had formed behind the unintentional dam. The water was perfectly clear and pieces of a ship’s hull could be clearly seen beneath the surface. As the group moved North they were ambushed by a group of Arboreal Octopi’ though these were quickly despatched in an encounter that left Racket Stump and R2-C4 covered in dark blue “gloop” which one can only assume was the creatures blood.

As the group turned east they saw a large hill that was in fact the crashed remains of The Sa Nalaor hull and bridge section! An abandoned encampment was found nearby with a group of graves though the huts looked disused for a number of years. The group ventured inside and looked around the ship. Loxus took the lead and scouted ahead where he found the bridge completely stripped and salvaged of all items other than one lone holoprojector which replayed the final moments of the ship as it crashed to it’s final resting place here on Cholganna.

Further exploration of the ship saw the group encounter three “Cyber-Nexu”. Creatures that looked to have been enhanced by Cratala, judging from the cybernetic changes that had been made to their physiology. IT-3PO quickly disappeared and the group pleaded and shouted for Cratala to calm the creatures down if she was nearby but this seemed to have no effect. Veloor Tessan continued her exploits from the previous encounter as he effortlessly sent one Nexu running for it’s life. The next one, which appeared to be the leader of the pack, was whittled down before R2-C4 was able to deal the killing blow (yes, you read that correctly)! The group rallied to fight off the last of these fearsome creatures but not before it was able to seriously and critically wound Racket and knock him unconscious.

Following the encounter R2-C4 attempted to salvage some of the cybernetic enhancements and although the attempt was a failure on one Nexu the group were able to salvage some cybernetically enhanced teeth from the other.

IT-3PO came out of hiding and claimed to have been protecting himself. When confronted about not answering his handheld communicator he claimed there must have been a lack of signal, something R2-C4 was certain not to be true.

At this point the group agreed to camp within a secure part of the ship for the night and continue their adventures in the morning….

Arrival at Cholganna

On board their, as yet unnamed, ship our heroes question IT-3PO about his knowledge of the Sa Nalaor and it’s whereabouts. It becomes clear that IT3 isn’t being wholy truthful and some computer wizardry from R2-C4 quickly unlocks some programming that reveals IT3 belongs to Captain Harsol rather than Reom’s father Ropok as originally believed.

The crew head to Cholganna and exit hyperspace to find themselves in a nebula dust storm AND an asteroid field. After some panicked flying and systems tweaking the crew are somewhat embarrassed the find the “asteroid field” is actually no more than three asteroids. Some sensor tweaking quickly allows them to find a way out of the dust storm and the forest planet of Cholganna is quickly in sight.

Ten hours of sensor scans reveal a 60km debris field and what looks like an escape pod landing site. Kol-Blah lands the ship and the gang investigate the escape pod first. Racket Stump is constantly on the look out for the fearsome Nexu which inhabit the planet and his fear of encountering one is driving him mad as he constantly sniffs the air and surveys his surroundings.

Upon arrival at the escape pod, labelled “34 Besh”, they find it swarmed and inhabited by hundreds of tiny green flying insects which R2-C4 distracts whilst the crew fire at them and Loxus Vakallon makes his way to the escape pod. Once inside a botched attempt to remove the escape pods logs causes some minor damage to the files but the crew are able to extract them for later access aboard their own ship.

Whilst on their way back to their ship a Nexu pounces from the foliage above and attempts to grasp Racket in its jaws. A gruelling battle ensues as Racket immediately insults the Nexu by punching it’s genitals! Veloor Tessan pleads with her associates to attempt to stun the Nexu to capture it and sell it at a later date but things become desperate when the Nexu takes a vicious bite at Kol-Blah’s arm, seriously wounding him and knocking him unconscious. Veloor throws Racket at the Nexu’s head but the creature throws him off and is poised to attack Racket when Veloor knocks it unconscious with a well aimed stun shot from her blaster.

The crew carry the incapacitated Nexu back to their cargo hold and cage it before unsuccessfully attempting to heal Kol’Blah’s wounds.

Welcome to The Wheel

Our heroes Kol-Blah, Loxus Vakallon, R2-C4, Racket Stump and Veloor Tessan find themselves in the offices of IsoTech aboard The Wheel. Each has been called by Reom for their reputation and expertise amongst underworld circles for a job that could change the fortunes of both themselves and IsoTech overnight.

The long lost separatist vessel The Sa Nalaor appears ready to surface and after some short negotiations Reom hands over the location and details of the ship and it’s suspected resting place, Cholganna at the end of the Perlemian Trade Route.

The group split up whilst awaiting the arrival of IT-3PO. Racket and Veloor headed to the local bar and attempted to gain some information about the Sa Nalaor and it’s history. Loxus and R2-C4 hacked into some information terminals and gained a wealth of information on the history of the Sa Nalaor and Cholganna. Kol-Blah head to the casino and won some credits before discovering that the YiYar Clan are also searching for the Sa Nalaor and attacking anybody else on the hunt.

The heroes regroup and quickly realise they are being followed by a pair of Rodians who are now waiting outside the entrance to the bar. Some quick negotiation with the bar tender allowed the group to leave through a rear exit where members of the ISB are searching for the Rodians, our group are quick to return to their vessel.

After waiting for a droid that enver arrives the group split, leaving Racket and R2-C4 to guard the ship whilst Veloor, Kol-Blah and Loxus return to IsoTech to find out what’s going on. They arrive in time to see a group of Rodians, including Yav Yiyar leaving with IT-3PO in tow.

Following a chase the Rodians are forced to flee and their ship takes flight whilst our heroes are left explaining the situation to the security patrols on The Wheel. Following some discussion the group are now ready to leave the Wheel and head towards Cholganna but it seems likely The Yiyar Clan and the ISB will not be too far behind.
